This bug tracks bugs that will be fixed by ResourceLoader 2.0.

Also feature requests for ResourceLoader in general that will be part of 2.0

Moving a few bugs to ResourceLoader component in general, renaming and moving this bug to Gadgets extension specific things.

Indeed - see [https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/ResourceLoader/status#2012-12-24 ruling from WMF Engineering management]. I do not know whether it will be taken forward as part of the 2013/14 work. Sorry for the lack of information.
