Description MZMcBride 2009-08-10 00:17:48 UTC
It should be possible to have global gadgets. Especially useful for, for example, hiding global notices. I suppose they would be defined at Meta and I imagine a prerequisite would be global preferences (bug 14950), though I can't say for sure.

unlikely that i'll touch this, so re-assigning to wikibugs
Comment 2 Krinkle 2011-06-13 18:47:26 UTC
Although application/usage will still depend on Global preferences, this will be made possible by the ResourceLoader2 / Global gadgets implementation coming this summer.

Presumably a "Game of Thrones"-type summer. ;-)
