Description Merlijn van Deen (test) 2013-12-24 18:36:39 UTC
This is a bug to track unit tests that should be added. These bugs might be interesting for new contributors.
Comment 1 Andre Klapper 2014-02-06 17:42:50 UTC
For potential contributors (as this is marked as "easy"), where would I find more information how to write unit tests? Or would I just investigate existing past patches https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/106841/ myself?
Comment 2 Merlijn van Deen (test) 2014-02-06 18:03:28 UTC
Looking at old patches, or checking existing tests in the tests/ subdirectory are indeed the best options. I don't think there's any pywikibot-specific documentation for writing unit tests, but the python unittest docs ( http://docs.python.org/2/library/unittest.html ) will probably be useful.
