Description michiel schweitzer 2007-03-23 22:14:55 UTC
when i enter a number in the search field and press search the result gives :
'No results found.' A guy named Tim told me to state this as : 'pure number
tokens are not indexed'.
Comment 1 Aryeh Gregor (not reading bugmail, please e-mail directly) 2007-03-25 00:30:36 UTC
(Tim being Tim Starling, of course.)
Comment 2 Daniel Kinzler 2007-03-25 00:36:02 UTC
This is a limitation imposed by the underlyeing search engine - per default, the
MySQL fulltext index. It can probably be configured there, just like the minimum
keyword length (4 characters per default).

[Merging "MediaWiki extensions/Lucene Search" into "Wikimedia/lucene-search2", see bug 46542. You can filter bugmail for: search-component-merge-20130326 ]
