A user applied the new classes to a button template on Portuguese Wikipedia
https://pt.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=prev&oldid=38540137
but the color of the links inside the template was still blue. The user needed to change this color to white by wrapping the link text in a
<span style="color:#fff">{{{2}}}</span>

Isn't better if the classes have this style applied by default?

Marking a duplicate of a documentation bug for this.  The bottom line is that it works if the button span is inside the link.
