Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Yuyudevil 2006-03-03 13:02:13 UTC
I am a user of the Korean and English Wikipedias. I primarily use Mozilla
Firefox on Windows XP Professional to browse and edit Wikipedia.

The Korean Wikipedia first noticed this bug during or around the Grand Wikipedia
Server Crash of February 2006. As can be seen in articles such as

(both of which utilize mathematical equations), the TeX markup appears in raw
form and users see neither a text nor a png rendering. My personal settings are
not at fault; this bug has been mentioned a few times in one of the Korean
Wikipedia IRC channels. I have checked the Japanese and Thai Wikipedias (seeing
as both reside in the Yahoo cluster) and both are functioning without noticeable

I think this may be a local wiki issue. Please investigate this matter and we
hope to see the bug patched up in the near future :)
