I am a user of the Korean and English Wikipedias. I primarily use Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.1 on Windows XP Professional to browse and edit Wikipedia. The Korean Wikipedia first noticed this bug during or around the Grand Wikipedia Server Crash of February 2006. As can be seen in articles such as http://ko.wikipedia.org/wiki/%ED%94%BC%ED%83%80%EA%B3%A0%EB%9D%BC%EC%8A%A4%EC%9D%98_%EC%A0%95%EB%A6%AC and http://ko.wikipedia.org/wiki/%EB%B8%8C%EB%9D%BC%EB%A7%88%EA%B5%BD%ED%83%80_%EA%B3%B5%EC%8B%9D (both of which utilize mathematical equations), the TeX markup appears in raw form and users see neither a text nor a png rendering. My personal settings are not at fault; this bug has been mentioned a few times in one of the Korean Wikipedia IRC channels. I have checked the Japanese and Thai Wikipedias (seeing as both reside in the Yahoo cluster) and both are functioning without noticeable problems. I think this may be a local wiki issue. Please investigate this matter and we hope to see the bug patched up in the near future :) Regards, Yuyudevil
Yikes, looks like I made a minor error. Please ignore the first link in the main text, and instead refer to http://ko.wikipedia.org/wiki/%ED%97%A4%EB%A1%A0%EC%9D%98_%EA%B3%B5%EC%8B%9D Sorry for the confusion this may have caused.
