Description homsar987 2006-03-03 07:06:51 UTC
I have very few articles on my watchlist because I want to know when they're
edited. Most of them are on there because I posted something on their talk pages
and I want to know when somebody responds to it. I'd like the ability to unwatch
JUST the article and NOT the talk page and vice-versa. (I know there's people
whose watchlists are just the opposite of mine.)
Comment 1 Brion Vibber 2006-03-03 08:01:01 UTC
Articles and their talk pages are deliberately treated as a unit.

Reopening and setting at lowest priority. Fix in year 2012. No big deal.
Don't just say
"Articles and their talk pages are deliberately treated as a unit."
It's just like saying
"Husband and wife are deliberately treated as a unit."

Just allow the possiblity of diffent thinking about the matter one day.
No rush. But don't just slam the door using family planning logic of the 60's or whatever.

That's what we have LATER for.
