Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Dan Jacobson 2007-09-05 14:01:43 UTC
Allow watching a page, but not its talk page.
Allow watching a talk page, but not its page.

In the meantime, the words on all views of the watchlist should
mention that the two are currently fused together and cannot be
independently watched, apparently.

Anyway, how Stalinist that they are stuck together with no way of
ungluing them.

Yes, the default should be watch both. But there should be a way to
snap the link for certian pages (without runing it for the rest.)

They're together deliberately, we don't intend to remove that.
