Description Maggie Dennis 2013-07-11 15:12:10 UTC
Currently a single click in the upper right of a template will open the template editor, which may result in people accidentally editing that editor if they just happen to click there on the page.

Editors on the English Wikipedia are concerned that a single click entry is undesirable since it could lead to unexpected results (the template editor), but think a double click entry would be a good thing.

I found myself instinctively double-clicking on images to try to edit their captions. I imagine I am not the only editor who would find this functionality very intuitive.

Yes, this is a good move - merging with the earlier proposal for the same.
