Wiki code is needed there - especially for redirecting people to the same page on the commons.

sorry. let me try again: [[:he:Special:Filepath]] does not allow wiki code - wiki code enetered on [[:he:MediaWiki:Filepath page]] apear as-is - double square brackets do not become a link. (I used he as an example - it should be the same everywhere) this is espcially needed because the Filepath option does not give commons filepath, and we want to link to the same page there. am I clearer now?

On further inspection, there is no such message; hewiki is trying to abuse the form field label as a paragraph-length text. A text message would need to be added.

We want to write a message that contains explanations want the meaning of the result. So, the answer that the message is form field label isn't helpful for us, and from our point of view this is a bug.
Added to extension in CVS. Message customisable via MediaWiki:Filepath_instructions.
REOPENING
RESOLVED INVALID and reverted the change in CVS, there's no need to add a custom message to each special page to do this (although in the case of extensions you need to call a special function) because we already have a general mechanism to do this, just edit MediaWiki:Filepath-summary
