Currently VisualEditor users can't touch infoboxes. It would be great to have edit access to the text fields of infoboxes. Being able to update images would be a plus. Modification of the infobox itself (e.g. addition of new fields) is out of scope here. I'm filing this request in relation to "Wikidata provides data for Wikipedia's infoboxes. The goal of this project is easy editing of the data for a given infobox on the Wikipedia, without having to go to Wikidata." http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Mentorship_programs/Possible_projects#On-site_editing By the time those Wikipedia infoboxes would be filled with Wikidata data, "easy editing" should be provided by VisualEditor.
