After considerably difficultly, I managed to get the Android app to upload this file:

The creator is listed as "User:null".

The upload initially failed, and the app would close to desktop each time I tried reopening it. Eventually (after Android finally generated a thumbnail for display in the Commons app, I think) it stopped closing, and showed up in the upload list as Failed. I tapped it, and it began another attempt at uploading, this time without any problems. I'm not sure whether the User:null was related to the re-upload of a Failed attempt or something else.

I also hit this bug when I attempted to uploaded an image over wi-fi. I cut off the wi-fi in the middle of it uploading. The upload failed, but the upload restarted over my mobile network. The image I uploaded is here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Clown_Fish_at_Audubon_Aquarium_of_the_Americas.jpeg The Author is 'User:null' and my description is 'null' probably because of the initial failed upload.
