Description Daniel Zahn 2012-10-18 01:43:48 UTC
regarding IRC cloaks:

http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/IRC/Cloaks

and the request form for them:

http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en&
formkey=dG1FTWV1RnNBVHFOSnExMHF6aUhya2c6MA

we have cloaks for all projects, so let's add wikivoyage for the migration and offer to wikivoyage admins. related: bug 41142
Comment 1 Peter Symonds 2012-10-18 15:42:30 UTC
This is the wrong venue. The GC chair (currently Cbrown1023) must make this request to freenode, the network provider, which is currently in-hand.
Comment 2 Alex Monk 2012-10-18 15:52:03 UTC
I wasn't able able to find the email address of Cbrown1023, so I'm guessing the correct place to request they ask Freenode about this would be https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Cbrown1023.
Comment 3 Alex Monk 2012-10-18 15:56:34 UTC
Found it, assigned.

List of folks and how to contact: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/IRC_Group_Contacts
Comment 5 Daniel Zahn 2012-10-18 17:32:52 UTC
actually, as ^demon pointed out, please expand this request to also add a new "wikidata" cloak while at it. If you think this should be a separate bug, go for it, just expecting that whoever is going to make changes for this could do both at once with minimal extra work. thanks
Comment 6 Casey Brown 2012-10-19 05:52:43 UTC
Request filed with freenode. Waiting for them now.
Comment 7 Filip Maljkovic [Dungodung] 2012-10-22 11:34:52 UTC
Request solved by freenode (internal ticket number #112197)
