Description Daniel Zahn 2012-10-18 01:30:54 UTC
-make the wikibugs bot join #wikimedia-wikivoyage
-let it report changes only on the wikivoyage related bugs like the new components for extensions to be added in bug 41111
Comment 1 Daniel Zahn 2012-10-18 18:38:05 UTC
and it would be perfect if it could filter for any bug that is dependent on the wikivoyage tracking bug or a similar way to select bugs it reports on regardless of the component
Comment 2 Antoine "hashar" Musso (WMF) 2012-10-18 19:25:59 UTC
wikibugs works by parsing the email notifications headers. Apparently this is not included in the mail headers :-]

Playing the devil's advocate: Who exactly wants this?

As a separate wikivoyage product/component currently doesn't make sense IMO (it's WM/Site configuration), the only possible way is to use a "wikivoyage" keyword and parse the "X-Bugzilla-Keywords" mail header (as neither dependency/blocks field values nor CC field values are bugmail headers).
That's exactly the same problem as discussed in bug 38994 though.

Wikivoyage is de-facto a group of components, including extensions Insider, Listing, RelatedArticles and RelatedSites (among others) which are deployed to voy: but to no other WMF projects.
Comment 7 Daniel Zahn 2013-01-24 18:30:09 UTC
as the ticket creator, i am fine if you reject/close this. This was just an idea before the wikivoyage migration when we tried to think of everything that needs to be done for the migration. And the "." above were an unrelated test.
Comment 8 Andre Klapper 2013-04-11 13:12:43 UTC
Looks like there's currently no interest in this. Closing as WONTFIX, could be reopened and reconsidered once there is bigger interest in this.
Comment 9 Merlijn van Deen (test) 2014-05-05 11:29:57 UTC
This is easy to implement in the new wikibugs, so please re-open the bug if you would still like bug reports for specific components.
