In the past few days the listing of categories for an article has appeared incorrectly using Safari (on a Mac OS X). Looking at the HTML source, I assume the problem is the bi-di indicators (perhaps recently added). I suspect this is actually a Safari bug - one example, the categories for http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pamplona display as "Categories: Geography of Spain | | NavarreMunicipalities in Spain" rather than "Categories: Geography of Spain | Navarre | Municipalities in Spain". I'll figure out how to report this to Apple as a bug, but in the mean time could you change the formatting code so the bi-di indicators are only added if they're necessary (perhaps assume left to right, and add only if they would change this)?
Works fine for me, Safari 2.0.2 (416.12) on 10.4.3. (Note that the bidi indicators explicitly *say* left-to-right.)
