Description Leah Klearman 2012-06-07 18:31:02 UTC
make your browser window narrow
visit https://en.wikisource.org/w/index.php?title=Page:United_States_Statutes_at_Large_Volume_43_Part_2.djvu/153
click edit
look at the GUI editing toolbar and the links underneath it

expected behavior:
all the links are in the section with the blue background

actual behavior:
the 'Proofread tools' link is in the text edit area, underneath some text.

Sumana,

It seems likely that it will be fixed by the patch mentioned by Tpt.
Not the solution I was thinking of, but probably a better one.

Comment 6 Beau 2012-06-08 08:49:45 UTC
I think it is an issue WikiEditor, because it cannot handle narrow screens properly.
Comment 7 Leah Klearman 2012-06-08 17:44:05 UTC
this is one of the most common GUI bugs i report for web pages / applications.
Comment 8 Beau 2012-06-11 18:25:48 UTC
Current implementation of ProofreadPage reduces the toolbar to half of the screen width. This issue is tracked by bug 32372.

Wikieditor does not wrap the links properly so I am updating component and summary fields.
