Here's copy of the headers of one of the mails I've got: To: XXX@gmail.com Subject: [MediaWiki r111712]: New comment added From: MediaWiki Mail <wiki@wikimedia.org> To: Nikerabbit <XXX@gmail.com> Subject: [MediaWiki r111712]: New comment added Date: Fri, 17 Feb 2012 07:44:58 +0000 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-transfer-encoding: 8bit Message-ID: <mediawikiwiki.4f3e057acaa022.53052689@www.mediawiki.org> X-Mailer: MediaWiki mailer
Might not exactly be CR at fault, as it just uses MWs core email functionality
Does this cause duplicate mails to be sent out, or is this just a mail header correctness thing?
Somewhat amusingly, I've not had any emails at all from CR in quite a while
(In reply to comment #3) > Somewhat amusingly, I've not had any emails at all from CR in quite a while This could be because an MTA sees bad headers and blocks them as suspiciously spammy. I've been getting CR emails. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 34421 ***
If we're going to dupe a bug, can we dupe it to one that has a somewhat decent summary?
