Description Amir E. Aharoni 2011-02-20 17:29:25 UTC
CentralNotice about steward elections appears on all wikis now. On RTL wikis it is oriented LTR. It actually seems that the text is oriented correctly as RTL, but the whole CentralNotice box is oriented LTR: In LTR wikis and in RTL wikis the main text appears on the left and the little links (Hide, Help with translations) appear on the right. It should be reversed on RTL wikis.

This was a bug in the notice CSS, not a software bug. Closing INVALID.

I've added some .rtl rules to the notice, it should update in 5-10 minutes or so.

Thanks for fixing.

I thought that such things are supposed to happen automatically and without special changes in the notice CSS.
Comment 3 Amir E. Aharoni 2011-02-20 20:20:45 UTC
... And now both the text and the links are on the right side, overlapping.
Comment 4 Ryan Kaldari 2011-02-22 01:12:22 UTC
Should be fixed now. There is nothing automatic about the banners. If they are going to be displayed on rtl wikis, the appropriate rtl CSS rules have to be added.
