To be exact, I reverted vandalism on this page: http://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Pathoschild&action=history As I auto-watch edited pages on Meta I got an e-mail today reading: Subject: Meta page User talk:Pathoschild has been created by Bsadowski1 > The Meta page User talk:Pathoschild has been created on 23 September 2010 > by Bsadowski1, see http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Pathoschild > for the current revision. > > This is a new page. > I remember this happening with another log action aswell a few weeks ago, I can't remember which one though. -- Krinkle
I changed the summary to widen the scope from "RevisionDelete by sysops" to "Delete" since today I recieved about 20 mails saying some of the files I was watching becuase of running deletion requests were created. As confused as I was I see that it is actually notifiying (checked timetamp and username) about the deletion, but it seems it's not capable of notifiying about that.
