Ever have a look at e.g., [[Special:Longpages]] in lynx or w3m? Did you test the effects of the U+200E you toss in there? Please report bugs against all those terminal browsers and terminal emulator programs if it is all their fault. That your pages could have hundreds of "end bidirectional code" markers or whatever it is called "just in case", without any "begin bidirectional code" markers, "just shows how an unbalanced diet leads to unbalanced programming assumptions". 200E is not "end bidirectional code", but "LEFT-TO-RIGHT MARK". It doesn't "end" a "bidirectional mode", but simply ensures that at that point the bidi context is left-to-right-facing. It's perfectly legitimate to toss in as many as you like; please look it up if you don't believe me.
