Description T. Gries 2007-01-15 05:43:01 UTC
two wrong names in main.css need to be renamed to become effective in the recent
changes display for new pages and minor edits:

1) span.newpageletter --> span.newpage
2) span.minoreditletter --> span.minor
Comment 1 Aryeh Gregor (not reading bugmail, please e-mail directly) 2007-01-15 06:06:35 UTC
No reason to change existing behavior (the yellow would look pretty garish anyway, IMO). Rules
removed in r19283.

Sorry, you misunderstood what I wrote in the title. The bug report is about the
_names_ of these style elements, not about the values. The bug is about the
problem of wrong _names_.

Please can you correct the wrong names as indicated ? The enwiki and dewiki _are
_using the span.newpage color (they do not use the span.minor color), have a
look to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Recentchanges

With other words, MediaWiki 1.8.x and 1.9.x use span.newpage and span.minor (and
not, as currently in monobook/main.css span.newpageletter and span.minor)

Se page source of current http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Recentchanges

Both wikis are using
  <span class="newpage">N</span>

and not
  <span class="newpageletter">N</span>
