All the articles on English Wikipedia starting with "List of" should be replaced
with "List:", which is a new proposed namespace. The proposal was made on the
following link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Village_pump_(proposals)#List_Namespace
Please follow up the link, it dictates the feasibility of the proposal.

This would not be easily reversible, since the pages would all have to be
manually moved (and there are undoubtedly a lot of them).  I don't think this is
happening until you get actual consensus on-wiki, rather than the small and
fairly divided discussion you linked to.

Actually, a bot could do the conversion, or ultimately, a script run on WM
servers and whatnot. But I don't think this is a good idea. my $2*10^-2

This didn't gain considerable support on the English Wikipedia itself, so the
bug is kind of moot now. Marking as closed, WONTFIX.
