Installing MediaWiki with an Oracle database fails after version 1.22.10. A fresh, completely extension free installation configured with: MediaWiki 1.22.10 (66fcbb6) PHP 5.3.17 (apache2handler) Oracle 11.2.0.4.0 works. Thanks for taking the time to report this! Please try with the latest stable version (MediaWiki 1.23.3) and report back. The 1.23.x series has received some Oracle fixes if I remember correctly.
With 1.23.3 I receive the same error. I also receive this error with the master branch. It would seem 1.22.10 is the last working version with Oracle as the DB.
