Comment 1 Tisza Gergő 2014-09-08 12:38:11 UTC
None of the files have been moved so this is unrelated to the recent swift issues. The file pages have a warning template about watermarks, so the images must have been visible originally.

Unlike the three images above, the file from bug 70572
  https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:FAO_logo.svg
is used in many wikis and is not intended to be deleted
Comment 5 Gilles Dubuc 2014-09-11 08:31:42 UTC
These later 2 examples' pages have been deleted and restored at some point. Not sure if that means anything, considering that the first 3 examples have nothing of that nature in their log.
Comment 6 Stefan2 2014-09-25 20:27:14 UTC
Seevral of the examples currently seem to work, although they didn't work before. See also [[c:User talk:Yann#DR images affected by bug]].
Comment 7 Gilles Dubuc 2014-09-26 14:04:45 UTC
Interesting, thank you for the update.
Comment 9 Bawolff (Brian Wolff) 2014-10-08 19:36:35 UTC
I notice in the server admin log, that on oct 7, "start swiftrepl of commons originals eqiad -> codfw", if something went very very wrong with that, could it cause something like this? (To grasp at straws)
Comment 10 Filippo Giunchedi 2014-10-09 08:51:41 UTC
unlikely, swiftrepl is read-only on the source side and codfw doesn't serve any user traffic yet
