Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Toolbar bottom of page

[wikisource-de] Since a few days the toolbar for special character appears at the bottom of the pr2- single-edit-page. (see attachement). It is a medium disaster (for the editor usability), please restore.
Comment 1 starshollow 2014-08-31 11:48:20 UTC
* Other Buttons in toolbar e.g. bold, italic, Ocr, sign also missing since a few days

Thanks for the bug report. I believe that the root issue is the same as bug 69447 but I don't close it as duplicate because it is not obvious.
Comment 3 Helder 2014-09-01 00:23:32 UTC
You seem to be requesting the opposite of what other users want. See:

Comment 5 starshollow 2014-09-01 21:36:12 UTC
Is there a solution hidden? Can't find....
Is it possible to get a simple, suitable solution (for further transmission)?
Comment 6 Bartosz Dziewoński 2014-09-01 22:14:41 UTC
The fix for bug 69447 will be deployed tomorrow. Someone should re-test this then and see if it's magically fixed.
Comment 7 Bartosz Dziewoński 2014-09-02 15:29:14 UTC
Deployed now. Please re-test this bug.
Comment 8 Helder 2014-09-02 16:11:52 UTC
This is the default (intended) behavior of the gadget [1]. Have you tried setting
window.charinsertMoveHigh = true;
on your personal JavaScript[2]?

Also, notice that as I said in the link mentioned on comment 3, the script from ProofreadPage changes the order of a few elements[3] in the page (and I'm not sure what is the purpose of that).

Closing; plus workaround via adjusting personal JS offered.
