Created attachment 16330 [details] Toolbar bottom of page [wikisource-de] Since a few days the toolbar for special character appears at the bottom of the pr2- single-edit-page. (see attachement). It is a medium disaster (for the editor usability), please restore.
* Other Buttons in toolbar e.g. bold, italic, Ocr, sign also missing since a few days
Thanks for the bug report. I believe that the root issue is the same as bug 69447 but I don't close it as duplicate because it is not obvious.
You seem to be requesting the opposite of what other users want. See: https://en.wikisource.org/w/index.php?diff=prev&oldid=5014066
See https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Wikisource:Scriptorium/Help#Toolbar_help_needed
Is there a solution hidden? Can't find.... Is it possible to get a simple, suitable solution (for further transmission)?
The fix for bug 69447 will be deployed tomorrow. Someone should re-test this then and see if it's magically fixed.
Deployed now. Please re-test this bug.
This is the default (intended) behavior of the gadget [1]. Have you tried setting window.charinsertMoveHigh = true; on your personal JavaScript[2]? Also, notice that as I said in the link mentioned on comment 3, the script from ProofreadPage changes the order of a few elements[3] in the page (and I'm not sure what is the purpose of that). User Comment on wikisource: "Juhu". Thanks, it works again as usual and wanted! https://de.wikisource.org/w/index.php?title=Wikisource%3ATechnikwerkstatt&diff=2235439&oldid=2235219
(In reply to Helder from comment #8) > This is the default (intended) behavior of the gadget [1] Closing; plus workaround via adjusting personal JS offered.
