Go to eg: https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikitech-l (notice https) click on the archive link, which you'll notice is hardcoded as http:// Get to http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-l/ Manually edit to https://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-l/ Get redirected to http :( (note: when this is fixed, we'll need to make all urls in the mailman interface proto-relative)

I reopened this report, because this issue contains two parts: 1) https redirects to http, 2) http:// is hardcoded in the mailman interface. The second part has not been fixed.
Renaming the summary; though I'm not sure if Wikimedia itself can do much about it - do you know if there is an upstream bug report against Mailman?
Wikimedia can; it is mailman config stuff :) I'll prepare a puppet patch to change defaults to https although I think previous mailing lists will still be hardcoded to http and might have to fixed locally.
Change 154814 had a related patch set uploaded by John F. Lewis: mailman: use https for archive links not http https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/154814
Change 154814 merged by BBlack: mailman: use https for archive links not http https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/154814
This was quick :)
