Description spage 2014-07-03 20:25:48 UTC
http://tools.wmflabs.org/styleguide/desktop/section-1.html

* Doesn't reflect the fonts in our core CSS from which the LSG is generated.
* Doesn't reflect what we're doing in Vector either:
** we don't use Georgia for quotes
** the font stacks Vector uses are different
* Is needlessly divisive and upsetting when it comes to proprietary vs. open source fonts,
* Is incorrect to list Helvetica and Arial as "open-source font"

The Typography section should be removed altogether from resources/src/mediawiki.ui/vector.less until we generate doc from the CSS+LESS of the Vector skin. If we keep it it needs heavy editing: it should start

Core MediaWiki has very simple typography, using only 'serif' and 'monospace, Courier'. The Vector skin applies different font stacks for top-level headings and body..." and then be technically accurate and in sync with https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Typography_refresh
