The toc is indeed much longer than really needed. Instead of "Wikipedia pages linked to this item" we can simply write "Wikipedia pages" or even just "Wikipedia" and so also the other headings can be shortened.

Agree. TOC is starting to become an eye sore at times.

Should be considered for the UI redesign. Not sure if we will have such a ToC anymore anyway after that. Let's not spend time on it before the redesign.
