% package require Trf couldn't load file "/usr/lib/tcltk/Trf2.1.4/libTrf2.1.4.so": /usr/lib/tcltk/Trf2.1.4/libTrf2.1.4.so: undefined symbol: MD2_Update See https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=664713.
This is needed before TS is shut down. Is the requirement clear? Any comments?
As per the link debian bug, the package does need a fix but the actual files for 2.1.4-dsfg-3 do not seem to be actually available at http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/t/tcltrf/ Despite the purported fix being around two year old. I'm trying to track it down.
After a bit of chat with the upstream maintainer, I found the right version to backport. News soon.
I'll try to get that tomorrow (Jun 11 2014)
(In reply to Marc A. Pelletier from comment #4) > I'll try to get that tomorrow (Jun 11 2014) Wondering if that happened.
I think not, as the error in comment #0 still appears.
Ping Marc-André... any news?
Coren is on holidays, if I remember correctly. CC'ing Andrew Bogott, as this ticket needs to get fixed this month.
Not having Coren's context for this... I grabbed the trusty package for tcl-trf and added it to reprepro as a precise package. "2.1.4-dfsg2-1" I'm confused about the numbering scheme since they seem to be going backwards... but that version seems to work properly. Giftpflanze, is this an OK solution?
It works. I'm interested in what Coren thinks about it when he comes back.
Nice! Thanks to Andrew and thanks for checking, Giftpflanze. Closing this one.
