Description Techman224 2014-02-27 06:14:33 UTC
I tried to block a user on Wikidata, but when I selected a blocked reason, it pre filled with another block reason in front. When I push the Block User button, the reason I selected goes into the bottom box, while the textbox jumps to a different reason and fills it in. It appears that the same reason gets pre filled every time I block, and there's nothing I can do about it. I've also reproduced this problem on test wikipedia, so it isn't Wikidata specific.

See https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&page=User%3AHildredAmb&type=block and https://test.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ALog&type=block&user=&page=User%3ATechman224%27s+Tester&year=&month=-1&tagfilter=

I wonder if this problem was introduced by recent changes like bug 61942 was.

Now *this* is the problem I experienced as well, see bug 61945
Comment 3 Marius Hoch 2014-02-28 02:32:11 UTC
This was actually an on-wiki script issue, not a MediaWiki one (https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?diff=7667258&oldid=5498329)
