Similar to bug 52036.
When you blank a page with VE, protection templates like
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Pp-move-indef
or
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Pp-blp
will stay.

Also categories, interwikis, maybe other stuff that's not editable in the main editor. This sounds like the expected behavior to me.
