ULS is used to change from language to language I need it urgently for working on content in Telugu and other languages. Thanks, Gerard

Unintended side effect of bug 46306 and https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/108667/ being merged. Not sure why it got hidden for you though as it should be enabled by default. Please provide more information (website, browser, what was your user preference for displaying ULS set to, etc.)
https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/92562/ says ULS is enabled by default, but https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Special:Preferences#mw-input-wpuls-enable tells otherwise.
I use both Firefox and Chrome on Windows latest release. My user preferences are external to the use of ULS. I did change them through the preferences and the ULS did not come back up. Thanks, GerardM
More accurate description.
I see a preference in https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-personal and enabling that brings it back for me.
Shouldn't we merge this with bug 46306? They're inextricably linked.
