^^^ Done by that config change; we should be able to get that pushed out w/c 27 January (next week we're in lock-down because people are busy at a conference). Will this be OK? If there's a major issue, we may need to switch it back off, though this hasn't been a problem so far.
Yes, this is OK. Thank you!

Community consensus for this is where?
(In reply to comment #6) > Community consensus for this is where? It's enabling a widely-deployed code path as an opt-in beta feature for testing…

Ni! It ain't working on pt.wikiversity. After activating VisualEditor, clicking "Edit" pops up a floaty with this error: "Erro ao carregar dados do servidor: parsoidserver-http-bad-status: 404. Gostaria de tentar novamente?" I guess that freely translates to "Error loading data from server: parsoidserver-http-bad-status: 404. Would you like to try again?" Does seem to be working on pt.wikibooks though.
I confirm it is working on Portuguese Wikibooks[1] but not on Portuguese Wikiversity[2]. [1] https://pt.wikibooks.org/wiki/Special:RecentChanges?tagfilter=visualeditor currently has 3 edits. [2] https://pt.wikiversity.org/wiki/Álgebra_linear?veaction=edit&uselang=en shows the message "Error loading data from server: parsoidserver-http-bad-status: 404. Would you like to retry?"
Ni! Any idea of whether/when will this get fixed for Wikiversity? I am giving a workshop Monday evening and I was really really expecting to be able to show people the Visual Editor working on Wikiversity. Cheers .~´

OK, the configuration change has been merged; this should now ship on Monday (Pacific time); sorry for the confusion and disruption. I'll get a more exact time when I know.
Thank you James, Any indication this might be shipped by 21:00 UTC today? []s
This is scheduled to happen in the hour-long block from 21:00 to 22:00 UTC today (see https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Deployments#Week_of_February_3rd row three); it's quite a tricky operation this time around due to other changes, so unfortunately you shouldn't expect it to be available until later in that hour, sorry.
Hi, thanks, that's useful information. The workshop is not about wikis (it's a permaculture course promoted by the city, that will use wikiversity for classes), and in fact starts at 21:30, so we can plan to start introducing wiki editing after 22:00 and get a better chance of meeting the fix =) Cheers!
I'm afraid that the deployment went slightly wrong and this fix did not get merged. Sorry. :-(
Hi, Well, something got through because, though it's still not working, it no longer pops up that error message, just quietly hangs while "loading" the VE. Is this a different issue? Or just consequence of stuff that went wrong on monday? I mean, will it get fixed with the next deployment?

See https://pt.wikiversity.org/w/index.php?namespace=&tagfilter=visualeditor&title=Especial%3AMudan%C3%A7as+recentes for a list of all edits with VisualEditor on Portuguese Wikiversity (just my test one so far).
Thank you James, it's working great now =)
