Description Tomasz W. Kozlowski 2013-12-29 14:58:44 UTC
As a follow-up to the creation of a Chinese Wikivoyage project (bug 59077), it should have its search index created and populated (with CirrusSearch being its primary search backend).

If I understand correctly, this should best happen after bug 59077 is RESOLVED FIXED /and/ after the project's content is imported from its current location inside the Incubator.
Comment 1 Nik Everett 2013-12-29 19:13:59 UTC
Once zhwikivoyage is set up I'll make the index. I'm not sure of the details of the import process so I can't say for sure if I have to wait until the import is complete. It'll certainly work after the import is complete. Please update the bug when zhwikivoyage is ready for me.
Comment 2 Tomasz W. Kozlowski 2014-01-14 20:37:30 UTC
@Nik: The wiki has just been created by Sam (Reedy) and is in usable state (though lacks any content just yet).
Comment 3 Chad H. 2014-01-14 20:41:13 UTC
Search index is created. There's no real content yet but the two existing pages have been indexed.

Is content going to be imported en-masse, or is the community starting fresh? If the former, we'll need to run the force indexer after content is imported.
Comment 4 MF-Warburg 2014-01-14 20:58:59 UTC
It will be imported. I will notify here when that is done.
Comment 5 Tomasz W. Kozlowski 2014-01-27 16:42:42 UTC
https://incubator.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?diff=1690445&oldid=1690009 suggests that the import has finished.

@Chad: Can you run the force indexer and close the bug once that's done? Thanks much :-)
Comment 6 Chad H. 2014-01-27 18:36:40 UTC
Ok, indexing has been run.
Comment 7 Tomasz W. Kozlowski 2014-01-27 18:44:59 UTC
