Description Matthew Flaschen 2013-12-12 01:04:38 UTC
For example, for https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/99779/ it would be helpful to see what percentage of Wikimedia's traffic comes from Firefox >= 4.0 (when the feature was introduced in Firefox requiring a vendor prefix) and <= 15.0 (the last version requiring the vendor prefix).

Dan -- will the changes to EventLogging to handle UA address this?

Comment 4 Dan Andreescu 2013-12-20 01:09:09 UTC
Toby -- No, the addition of User Agent logging to EventLogging will only affect editor data. I think Matthew is looking for this in pageview data.
Comment 5 Matthew Flaschen 2013-12-20 01:22:38 UTC
Correct, this is a request to query the page view data we already collect in more flexible ways. It's a concrete feature for the "Queryable public interface for pageview data" discussion on the Analytics list a while back.
