Description lɛʁi לערי ריינהארט 2006-05-03 17:57:44 UTC
Hallo!

This type of links are not available in the user interface. However archives,
talk pages etc. can still contain such links.

Comparing [[special:Whatlinkshere/nonexistent page]] where [[nonexistent page]]
is red with [[special:Recentchangeslinked/nonexistent page]] shows the
difference in the user interface.

See also section *notes* at
http://nike.users.idler.fi/betawiki/Patch_for_Special:Recentchangeslinked

*request*
[[foo]] at [[Special:Recentchangeslinked/foo]] should indicate the existence of
the page.

best regards reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]

Addressed in SVN trunk, r14063. Changed to redirect back to the title, allowing
the user to create the page (or read the localised "this page doesn't exist"
message).
Comment 2 Angela 2007-03-28 01:43:35 UTC
Please can you exempt populated categories from this? It is useful to see the
recent changes linked to a category regardless of whether the actual category
page has been created.
Comment 3 Brion Vibber 2007-03-29 14:26:09 UTC
Agreed; the redirection is pretty unintuitive to me.

I've reverted the prior fix in r20806 and changed to the originally-requested
link-coloring behavior in r20807.
