This is a followup to Bug 42715 which had been marked fixed in December 2012, and was reopened and fixed again in February 2013. As suggested by Andre there, I'm opening a new bug now. Did Asaf also get a timeout? As said on bug 55397 comment 3, if we get a 504 it's not unlikely that something goes really bad here, I suppose. A fix for that bug has been merged but not deployed yet.
Tilman / Asaf: As bug 55397 and bug 42715 are fixed: Has anybody still seen this problem lately?

Reopen if it happens again (and don't retry if you get a 504!). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 55397 ***
