Description Tilman Bayer 2013-10-16 18:43:51 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Meta:Sandbox&action=edit

2. Enter "{{:FDC portal/Proposals/Community/Review}}" or "{{:Wikimedia_Highlights,_August_2013}}"

3. Click "Show preview"

This results in an "Internal error" page with the message "Fatal exception of type MWException"

I cannot confirm this bug now: I don’t get any "internal error", although the transclusion of these pages makes appear plenty of awful <translate> tags -- perhaps this will be improved in the future, but for now you can transclude "{{:Wikimedia Highlights, August 2013/en}}" to get a proper result.

FWIW, I don't get the error any more myself now.

Yes - that wasn't the issue though; it was definitely an internal error. I don't remember if I tried transcluding /en pages too.

This is almost certainly duplicate of bug 44608.
