Description omniplex 2006-04-14 07:03:03 UTC
At the moment [[image:clear1x1.gif|50x333px]] or
[[image:clear1x1.gif|50%px]] and similar versions
are all accepted, but their effect is always 50px.

Changing the aspect ratio is usaually a bad idea,
so that's no issue. But a width as percent could
be nice: Web design with absolute widths is very
1998. My browser is older and supports percent.
Comment 1 Brion Vibber 2006-04-14 08:00:11 UTC
Percentage would be tightly coupled to the source image's pixel size, which
makes it very poor for portable code. Size can vary dramatically from image
to image, and could be changed over time for a single image (eg, uploading a
higher-resolution version).
