SPDY is supported in Nginx and most modern browsers. Since we are using Nginx for HTTPS termination already, we should consider enabling SPDY support in it. This cuts down the overhead per request, which in turn makes it feasible to de-bundle in particular API requests for less cache fragmentation.

I can try this with the labs dynamicproxy to see how it goes.
