Description Platonides 2013-08-29 21:23:01 UTC
You are completely new to Wikimedia
You go to index.php?title=Special:UploadWizard&campaign=foobar (logged out) while following a link.
There is a big button saying «Create an account» (nice!).
However, after you finished the account creation, you are sent to the Main page, not to continue the upload at that campaign :(

Hmm, on my local machine I see none of this. I see a normal 'log in' link, and that does proper return-to behavior.

The bits on commons seem like a gadget?
Comment 2 Yuvi Panda 2013-08-29 23:42:38 UTC
See bug 30728, where this was initially reported, and then fixed. Looks like the Commons gadget(?) now re-did everything, and re-introduced the original bug :)
Comment 3 Matthew Flaschen 2013-08-30 00:25:02 UTC
Proposed fix at https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki_talk:Mwe-upwiz-error-nologin#Returnto_for_signup . Commons has a local override, so it's not a code issue.
Comment 4 Andre Klapper 2013-09-19 18:32:32 UTC
The change in comment 3 was done, so I assume this can be fixed now?
Comment 5 Mark Holmquist 2013-09-19 18:37:01 UTC
Fixed onwiki, thanks all.
