Russia needs to be added to the monuments database. The lists were already externally available a while now, but now also on ruwiki! They are templated. We already have a lot of sources in the monuments database (see https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Monuments_database/Statistics). Useful information to include: * project - wikipedia * lang - ru * headerTemplate - Template:WLM/заголовок * rowTemplate - Template:WLM/строка * commonsTemplate - Template:Cultural Heritage Russia * commonsTrackerCategory - Category:Cultural_heritage_monuments_in_Russia_with_known_IDs * commonsCategoryBase - ?? the base of the category tree at Commons for all images * autoGeocode - ?? To automagicly geocode the images at Commons (be careful1) * unusedImagesPage - Проект:Вики любит памятники/Проблемы * imagesWithoutIdPage - ?? Page to put the list of images without an id. * registrantUrlBase - http://wikilovesmonuments.ru/monument/kult/ * namespaces - 104 * table - The name of the table, convention monuments_<country>_(<lang>) * truncate - False if you don't have a real primkey * primkey - What is the primkey? Can be one or more fields. Should be unique, strong etc.
* commonsCategoryBase - Base category for Russian heritage is [[Category:Cultural heritage monuments in Russia]], for WLM in Russia - [[Category:Wiki Loves Monuments in Russia]], but I don't know what category you need. * autoGeocode - It's too early. Database does contain many errors, it will be possible to connect after further verification. * unusedImagesPage - Проект:Вики любит памятники/Проблемы/Неиспользуемые изображения * imagesWithoutIdPage - Проект:Вики любит памятники/Проблемы/Изображения без ID * truncate - True * primkey - ID is primary
Ehhhhh, I already have Russia in the database, see https://fisheye.toolserver.org/browse/erfgoed/erfgoedbot/monuments_config.py?hb=true#to5346 What's the difference? What should I do with the "old" lists?
Good catch. That template seems to be only used for the lists created in 2011, and only for Saint Petersburg. The new system is definitely much more complete and should probably take preference. Stasie: probably you want to either merge the old lists, or remove them?
The old inwiki list never worked really, and the last base includes it already.
Ok. We'll just keep the current one around as ru-old for now and make this the main Russian one.
So I switched to the new lists. I found 58462 items.
