The schema and the extension itself should be updated so that the extension can adapt to any schema. At the current moment, much of the schema at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Schema:BookManagerv2 is hardcoded into the extension. Instead of this, the extension should be able to glean everything it needs from the schema alone, possibly with a few helper functions for various specially-formatted inputs.
