Description MZMcBride 2013-08-12 18:13:12 UTC
The EducationProgram extension currently adds a user preference under the "Misc" tab:

[ ] Show a link to your courses at the top of every page.

I think this user preference can probably be safely removed. I think it should be possible to quickly and easily check whether a user is currently enrolled in a course and, if so, output the "my courses" tab.

An alternate approach would be to move this user preference under the "Appearance" user preferences tab.

I think either of those options would be preferable to the current Misc tab. I don't have a problem with removing the preference, as long as the link will reliably show up for anyone participating (in any role) in a current or planned course.

This was moved to the Appearance tab.
