Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description darklord 2006-03-10 12:40:05 UTC
when invoking http://site/index.php?title=Special:Recentchanges&feed=rss

the following thing shows up:

XML parsing failed: syntax error (Line: 2, Character: 0)

Reparse document as HTML
    1:
    2: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    3: <?xml-stylesheet type="text/css" href="http://no.suid.pl/skins/common/feed.css"?>
    4: <rss version="2.0" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">
    5: <channel>

the reason for rss not working is 1st blank line.

this is a fresh install, not an upgrade.

Comment 2 Brion Vibber 2006-03-10 19:26:15 UTC
There's extra whitespace at the end of one of your files, probably
LocalSettings.php, an extension, or any other file you've customized.
Remove this whitespace.
