Description John Mark Vandenberg 2013-07-12 23:44:50 UTC
On Google Chrome on Galaxy Note 2

1. open VE
2. 'click' on a link

Results:
The text cursor appears at the character of text selected.
The link editor icon appears below the character of text selected.
The text cursor makes it impossible? to click on the link editor icon.

One solution would be to place the link editor icon above the linked text, and ideally place it always at the end of the linked text instead of at the character where the text cursor.

The link icon moves when the text cursor is moved.

It is possible to zoom in to press the link icon, but it is very fiddly.
Comment 2 John Mark Vandenberg 2013-07-13 02:19:01 UTC
Clicking the link icon at the top of the article works, which is a reasonable workaround. Dropping priority.

The mobile version of VisualEditor doesn't do text over-lays to avoid issues like this bug. Closing as INVALID now that work there is progressing.
