Description lɛʁi לערי ריינהארט 2006-02-17 19:17:04 UTC
Hallo!

Found another bug about failing (character /) title normalisation generating red
links for existing pages.

You may see the red link in section 0 of the page at the url.

best regards reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]

*notes*
a) The link is red also at [[ru:talk:Википедия#bugzilla:05025]]
http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/talk:%D0%92%D0%B8%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%BF%D0%B5%D0%B4%D0%B8%D1%8F#bugzilla:05025
where it is a self refering link and should be black.

b) Beside Russian Wikipedia the sister project and projects in other languages /
alphabets are / could be affected by this bug.

best regards reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]

Please add 'Blocks' Bug 3985: character conversion (tracking)
If character manipulation issues should be tracked there as well.
Comment 3 Rob Church 2006-04-22 01:07:55 UTC
Please provide a clear example on an unencumbered page, using English.
Comment 4 Brion Vibber 2006-04-22 01:17:30 UTC
Case-insensitive matching for namespaces is currently done with
functions that are not properly UTF-8-aware.
Comment 5 Max Semenik 2008-07-05 15:27:09 UTC
Quietly fixed by someone long time ago.
