Description Steve Myers 2006-02-10 18:57:19 UTC
The main_page is having an huge issue with saving after editing. The Cache has
been cleared but still no changes after saving or doing ctrl+f5.

The problem did not occur until this morning.
Comment 1 Rob Church 2006-02-10 20:44:32 UTC
Well according to Firefox, that URL doesn't resolve to a valid server. I assume
http://www.geeksource.org but am reluctant to change it in case it's not. Which
'cache' has been cleared; there are several possibilities...?

One also has to ask the usual question. What's changed?
Comment 3 Steve Myers 2006-02-10 20:54:16 UTC
The URL is valid but is redirected due to mediawiki setting it's self in the
/mediawiki folder. this will be changed in a few minutes. Also, the Firefox team
has released 2 security fixes in the past few hours, this is common for bug
fixes which could also resolve in the next release to be fixed on socket issues
with cache connecting with the servers.

You didn't answer either of the questions above. They're intended to help
diagnose the problem in the absence of being able to see the wiki in action.
