Description Liangent 2013-05-31 15:31:08 UTC
Including:
* Adding sitelinks supplied in different variants by user
* Displaying sitelinks in the variant user prefers

Re the first point: if a sitelink is added in the preferred variant of the user, but the article's title is in another variant, then Wikidata would not be able to find the title.

There are no redirects for these other variant titles.

The titles are not in one specific variant. They are first come, first served.

There is a function "findVariantLink" which might be useful.

How is it a duplicate; are you thinking that they're all about "multiple links to the same site"?
