Description Jason Spiro 2006-02-01 02:17:06 UTC
I have heard from various new Wikipedia users that it is weird that dates are
wikilinks. Well, it _is_ weird. Unfortunately, too many Wikipedians are used to
this weirdness and don't care anymore.

According to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Make_only_links_relevant_to_the_context#What_should_be_linked
full dates should be wikilinked so that MediaWiki will automatically reformat
linked dates according to users' date preferences.
